This whole story is some Trump-level bizarre-ness. I guess in that sense Kennedy’d stock is rising.

Yea, clearly you’re OK with going to hell. Or at least willing to die on that knoll.

Agreed. The Tacoma has gone a little psycho in it’s styling.

Yup.

Gotta admit I always likes these -- both the styling and the hybrid concept. When new they were priced too crazy high, and now I’d have a very rational fear that if the battery died it’s be an expensive-if-not-feasible replacement hassle. So while this one is pretty, I’d have to say reluctant ND.

“Right now, Americans are spending an average of $47,000 on a new vehicle.”

And fill up for about 1/3 the cost of gasoline, too.

That could potentially lower insurance rates, too. And make things a lot safer for pedestrians, bikes, e-bikes and motorcycles.

Funny, I just bailed out on my 2019 Volvo plug-in hybrid at 65,000 miles because depreciation and repair paranoia were starting to creep in. I hope you do well with this one!

Honestly, I woudn’t be interested in that car at $500. There’s nothing special about it, I’m sure it’s awful to drive, unsafe, loud, requires tons of stupid maintenance, uncomfortable, and probably smells like exhaust all the time. Props to whoever kept or made it nice, but there’s not ROI for that with this car.

So now if I get a call saying “we’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s warranty” I actually should listen?

It’s simply insane that this Tesla system is legal for use on public streets. I truly feel for the family of the motorcyclist, and its pisses me off knowing that Elon will barely give it a thought and sleep just fine tonight on his mattress stuffed with all those billions of dollars.

Is it just me, or does it looks like this this was (somewhat poorly) handmade in some warehouse? What’s with the cheap metal grating coving up body work? Why are so many bits of fiberglass broken? What’s the big metal box in the cabin behind the driver’s seat? And what looks like copious amounts of spray foam in the

Sure, easy NP. This thing has some subtle swagger and what I’m sure are pretty bullet-proof mechanicals. Plus a V8? Whereas I’d run from a BMW or Audi of this vintage, I’d enjoy cruising around in something like this. I bet it’s a hell of an interstate cruiser, too.

Also always consider that it’s not the vehicle that embarrass the kids, it’s you...

Absolutely. I’m sure many — if not most — have their mirrors set up wrong.

Another one -- don’t drive in someone’s blind spot. I can’t tell you how often people do that here in FL

That ship is clearly the F250 King Ranch of the oceans.

Sadly buying a $100K look-at-me vehicle and then intentionally damaging by walking on it and throwing stuff at it has become “the most American” thing to do these days. I long for the days when people tried to cover up their stupidity.

I suppose for a an old Bentley enthusiast this is a pretty reasonable deal — I mean, how often do these things pop up for sale, and the condition seems pretty darn good, right? I’m giving it a NP because someone has clearly kept thing thing nice for 75 years and hopefully another someone will step up as its next
