“I’m pretty sure that I needn’t visit London again.”
Quite a few readers think he might have used “ugly” to insult her personality, which I at first wondered too. But after thinking about it, I think he used “ugly” because he knew that’s what would sting the most. An ugly bride on the most important day of her life?! If he’s implying she’s ugly on the day of days where…
so somebody posts an article which not a few women find hurtful and the defense is that it’s satire? where have i heard that before....
Maybe you weren’t a preteen when he was a handsome young prince, as I was. But I did get a chuckle at the suggestion that my standards are narrow because a blue-eyed, blond white man no longer fits them, so thanks for that.
These people are like outspoken atheists and PETA - I agree with them in theory, but in practice, they’re such fucking killjoys.
I don’t see any comments that suggest anyone has a problem with weed or anything else. Personally I find it a bit arrogant of a 20-something American to land in another country for the first time and immediately start figuring out how to best skirt local laws and customs, then writing about how cool and worldly she…
They weren’t rioting because of taxation and political representation. They were rioting because the British were trying to put an end to their illegal smuggling operations and make them pay for a war they cause through other illegal actions.

Good thing weed isnt addictive at all. Should make doing without on a trip no problem. Then you dont have to worry about any of this.
Gaming being an interactive medium means that the medium, the game, reacts to your actions. The term has nothing to do with the creators having to react to the ramblings of gamers.
