I mean, don’t their changes make it like every other bullshit bullying platform that’s used by insecure teenagers? AskFM leaps to mind.

I'm actually so stunned at the reaction of the community. What a fantastic thing for the local businesses to do. I'm not going to comment on the vile PUAs, because I want to focus on the positives; real action against rape culture.

You can register interest now, tickets are on sale in a couple of months, the show will be next summer :D

It's actually going to be a Westend play, not a book, but you're right that it's so exciting and I also immediately assumed it was about Teddy Lupin, as she said we know the character's name. I will do anything for one of those tickets. ANYTHING.

Ted Tonks? Prof. Sprout?

The crushing reality is that he'll probably be a college bro who has no problem getting laid :( :( :(

Agreed. There's something a bit uncomfortable about telling a child of apartheid that he should appreciate online activism. I work in social media and from what I can see online activism itself can make powerful change when it is concentrated on a private company, but not on individuals or governments.

There's plenty of people who say that hypothetically, but whenever there's an article abut a celebrity announcing a pregnancy, or a friend on Facebook announcing a birth, or an article from a mummy-blogger about breastfeeding, there is no where near the same amount of people bringing up adoption. I’m English and I’ll be damned if my mother forces me to have fruitcake at my wedding. You’re right that we don’t do cake right.

Her issues probably all came from her horrible abusive father.

I feel super stupid for saying this and I am ready to be smacked down and told this is a common misconception, but aren’t there suggestions that there’s a connection to the lunar cycle and mental health? Hence “lunacy”? Or is that just a terrible Victorian idea?

Especially when they’re the same assholes who look at riots and uprising against corrupt and oppressive government forces and respond with “well you should just obey the law.”

Also apparently George Michael is gay.

I’m sorry you felt that way, I really enjoyed it.

No, a British man married to a Dane. Like I said, he makes it clear that it is not a socialist utopia.

I just read a book called ‘The Almost Nearly Perfect People’ about the Scandinavian countries and their culture/politics. I really recommend it, it makes it clear that it is not a socialist utopia, but still gives good insights into the positive politics we could all use.

“I understand the issues poor people face and I feel sorry for them, I just don’t want to do anything about it.”

Or “I’m socially liberal, fiscally conservative.” YOU CAN’T BE BOTH, THEY’RE INHERENTLY CONNECTED.
