@ForeverBlueGirl: It was New Hampshire, not New Jersey. I don't think that location had that much to do with it. I don't think that any of it is as simple as they want us to believe. People make decisions for personal reasons. The pundits just want to figure out why they were so wrong.
@RosemaryF: Oh, ok. You didn't say that they knew, you just said that they were separated at birth. I thought you were saying that it was added ick for them being gay. I apologize for the misinterpretation.
@RosemaryF: Why is that an extra "ick"? It is the same thing...
Personally, I like female doctors. I feel like they have the added touch of expertise of going through some of the same ailments that only women experience. But I'd prefer a doctor of either sex that takes his/her time to actually listen to me and explain what he/she is going to do over some busy, careless doctor.
@currerbell: I concur. I get frustrated every week because I always like Kit's designs. I'm glad she isn't going home, but I get frustrated that she doesn't get any attention.
@FemiNuisance: That show was amazing. Joan of Arc was very Daria— the tough girl that is conflicted by her unrequited crushes and attempts to distance herself from expectations. Great characters. Very Jezebel in some ways.
Jokes!
Moe— I appreciate your ability to have humor about your feminism. I appreciate that you are smart, funny, and interesting— and your sex has nothing to do with any of those characteristics. I appreciate that you're a feminist that exclusively concerned about feminism. You notice and point out racism, homophobia, and…
@ThaKadinskyPapers: Wow. High school flashback.
@FloraWay:@bridesmaid4: I misread that. Wait, isn't this supposed to be a feminist site? So, it is more feminist to call someone fugly than to say that we shouldn't cut each other down because it helps us lose our power to men?
@bridesmaid4: I'm on the wrong side because I think that we do more harm than good by saying that a girl is fugly?
@sirsnarksalot: That was a lot more clever than "she's fugly". Mostly because you were actually calling her out for what she has done to herself, not for her looks.
@sirsnarksalot: I like that if anyone makes a comment about Hillary Clinton's appearance, people freak out. While I agree that it is sexist and should not happen, she is a 60 years old. She is a strong, intelligent adult that has been through enough that I hope she can handle it. Sure, being attacked about your…
Does she have a huge bruise on her forehead?
@stuckingoshen: I really hate that if anyone says something negative about Hillary, everyone wants to pull out the "sexist" card. Just because you feel like she has better policies than Obama/Edwards/etc, doesn't mean that someone who doesn't like her is being sexist.
@marie123: Umm, Iowa is split pretty evenly between Democrats and Republicans (Our last two governors have been Democrats—our last, Vilsack—actually started to run for President, but backed out pretty quickly and supports Hillary.) That is why it is often referred to as a purple or swing state. And it is really…
That photos is terrifying. RUN SASHA! You're next...
@biscuitdoughjones: Mormon's use antidepressants at a far higher rate than the rest of the population. They just don't drink caffeine or alcohol (or use recreational drugs).
