Everyone needs to drive an NA Miata. It’s the modern benchmark for handling and connection with the machine. You’re still aware you’re driving a machine, but it never really feels like work, or you’re in danger, unlike a lot of other sports cars. It’s also something anyone could get behind the wheel of without having

A classic car

It’s the answer to this question, as well:

It would be the perfect replacement for all those Honda Elements that are starting to show their age 😅

Amen. Add a second engine for AWD and a bit more power, and it’s everything I need.

Just like the Tiguan, all we will get is long-wheelbase. Great. How fricking annoying...not all of us have a six-pack of kids to haul around, and would appreciate a more compact yet spacious vehicle. It’s also interesting that there’s been no mention of an awd/twin-motor version...I wonder if there is enough space up

I bet that most of you actually would want this :P

VW also had some great colors for the Euro ID.4, then only brought over 4 for the first edition ID.4 and only two more after that (moonstone grey and red).

Wish they were bringing the short wheelbase version over. It would have been the perfect do-everything runabout.

For decades I’ve read folks denigrate Consumer Reports Automotive Testing because they didn’t like their reviews. I have a different perspective.

Used Nissan Leaf:

The ES recommendation is so close. GS or LS is better, and Lexus provides maintenance for the first few years. They even have hybrid models.

$75k budget, cruise in luxury and comfort over long distances, minimal depreciation? I’ve got you. Buy a 997 911 Turbo that’s been well maintained with high mileage. Even with high mileage, these things aren’t depreciating, and are extremely well built. They do cost more to maintain, but beyond pinning the coolant

Just bought my wife an off lease 2018 Lexus 300h with the Mark Levinson soud. This is absolutely the right answer. The car is super comfortable, super quiet and the soud system is spectacular. We took it on a 1200 mile vacation to the mountains of Western North Carolina and I’ll be damned if the car didn’t retun 47

For those confused as to how this statement makes sense, allow me to translate:

Buy a Lexus.

If you don’t buy an LC, so help me ...

I’m going with Genesis G80 5.0 ultimate sedan.  You can get them low mileage for under $35,000 maintenance is cheap, good sound system, and comfy.

I agree Lexus is probably best bet for decent ride and low depreciation, as well as low maintenance.

Uh, I don’t think this guy is actually “commuting” 200+ miles to see his parents five days a week. It sounded to me that he was maybe going once a week, not every day.
