To begin, I have to sincerily apologize for inserting assumptions about your taste in games before. I mean that genuinely, despite what is to come, as I don’t know you and shouldn’t comment on such things, especially snide manner. Also everything I am about to write is meant to reflect on your argument, not on you

It still feels weird that this is a game with a collection of unique characters with different powers and abilities and fighting styles and the gameplay is "What if they all just had guns."

I mean, sure if we basically want to meaningless comparisons that have absolutely no weight.

Key difference (not that we shouldn’t expect better) is that those are side missions, and from the reviews I’ve read and seen, the main missions in Suicide Squad are just as repetitive.

No amount of gameplay can ever make up for the disrespect of a particular scene

Okay, so this such an inane comparison on so many levels that I don’t even really know where to start.

Is there a single, full review out anywhere for this game yet? I’m talking real publications, not random Youtubers, I get the game isn’t technically “out”, but like, yes it is, and from everything I’ve seen it’s quite short even when doing everything the game throws at you, 10-15 hours max.

I have to admit something extremely funny in mentioning five different side quest of missions with different mechanics as an example of how repetitive a game is. While also ignoring other kinds of stuff in the game like the Riddler puzzles, no matter what one thinks of them, or the crime scene investigations.

Because 2K doesn’t care about anything they can’t cram with MTX.

I watched a Let’s Play by a dudebro called Candyman something-or-other who usually played COD. He went through the emotional arc of the main character, feeling the same things at the same times. It was impressive how well it predicted what he would think and feel.

This game has the best narrative of any shooter. Ever.

The thing about free DLC add-ons is that you get what you pay for.

There’s a very big difference between buying a game that happens to have some microtransactions and one that is built around selling you microtransactions. This, even though they seemingly have toned it down a bit, seem to be the latter.

We already lost Rocksteady, this is just the long depressing funeral.

Exactly. Make it F2P if they want us to dump money into it. Also make the gameplay better.

They are not doing us a favor by offering a Battle Pass that doesn’t expire, even though it “only has Cosmetics.” They... know we can remember the previous Batman games that just had costumes in them, right? Or the three Spider-Man games? Not gonna cheer you on for selling “just cosmetics” instead of including them as

Don’t care, not buying a full price game with micro's anymore. Fuck what the industry has become.

I do love the low commitment aspect. I believe they’ve crafted an experience that will demand pretty much 0 hours of my time. :P

Alternate currencies in games need to be illegal. There is literally no benefit, it exists only to manipulate people and confuse how much your spending.
