With how much TROS goes out of its way to rewrite and ignore TLJ i can only assume its because Dominic is a friend of JJ and JJ hates anything set up by the last movie. Finn and Rose’s kiss is never even brought up and acknowledged. The movie makes sure to show Rose give the “I have to do my homework” excuse clearly…

Awesome, Rey is a clone super-force-sensitive vessel for Palpatine to re-enter, but there are other clones he has to use when Rey rejects him, so we get to see Rey fight Reyy at the end.
The problem was a mismatch between the character archetype and his role in the plot.
I too wanted to like it but was instantly put off by the what to me was a downgrade in animation graphics when compared to Rebels and then the story line, just not that engaging.
The worst part was most of the supporting characters seemed really cool. It was like if the Clone Wars did the same story lines but made every episode centered on Jar-Jar and 3PO.
I kept running into the matter that the art style looked like ass. I tapped out 3 or 4 episodes in.

Granola bars and steel ball bearings take up a lot of pocket space.
