Is anyone here still hoping for the results to be overturned?

I don’t think it will be overturned, but I’m looking forward to watching how the process goes. I even volunteered to help out here in PA.

You should know that what you’re doing is extremely condescending. Real people are really concerned about the election of Trump. Telling them they shouldn’t be is unhelpful at best.

And maybe I’ll win a $500m jackpot, and maybe an asteroid will crash into the earth. It’s not entirely outside the realm of possibility that Trump could be a good president, but it’s pretty damn unlikely.

When I was a little girl Princess Leia was my idol. I think I dressed up as her 3 Halloweens in a row. As an adult I’m grateful that my idol has held up.

I’m so sick of both Jill Stein and Bernie Sanders trying to be heroes after the fact. They, especially Bernie, helped cause this and now they’re trying to pass the blame and re-characterize their legacies. This isn’t anything but false hope and a fundraiser.

He would have petitioned all 50 states to do recounts just to drag it on and on. Going on daily twitter rampages about “crooked Hillary” and held “Lock her up” rallies every other day.

I know it is an extreme longshot, but i can’t help but think if these audits/recounts overturn a state or expose further external interference from a foreign source; that perhaps maybe, just maybe the electoral college will have to take into account all factors and vote for Hillary instead of Trump.

I keep thinking if Dumpsterfire had lost, he and the Republicans would have incited riots and would not have HESITATED to demand a recount. So, heading forward, I choose to treat him the way the Republicans would have treated HRC.

I will live on this hope for as many days as it takes. If I have to settle back into the anxious dreaded filled nightmare scape that has enveloped my life the past few weeks once again, at least I’ll have had these few days of envisioning a country that did not elect an insane person to lead it.

Is anyone here still hoping for the results to be overturned? I feel like it’s foolish after all that’s happened, but there’s a little seed in me that whispers “maybe”, and I don’t quite know what to do with it.
