Yep. I wasn’t a politically enlightened soul on 9/11 but the run up to war with Iraq really ended any fairy tales I had about our government. I grew up in a Republican family loaded with vets and voted for Bush in 2000. That was the last time I EVER voted Republican and the Iraq War broke the seal.
