How does the simple act of talking about a subject automatically make it good? By your reasoning, when Chris Hansen video catches child predators on his show, he’s making good publicity for them.

KA’s are not truck motors.  The KA24's were FIRST used in the 240sx.  The KA engine is an evolution of the L-series engine with a true crossflow head.

All Nissan 240sx (and IIRC, Altima) KA24's were manufactured in Japan. The Frontier KA24's were assembled in Mexico.  Don’t spread false information.

A lot of critics (especially GM) said the Toyota Prius and its kin would never be profitable and they thought it was a big joke. Then again, critics of the F-150 (also GM) criticized Ford’s aluminum truck beds and we all know who’s the number 1 truck seller!

Anyone that believes this is bad for the environment, can go on straight to hell.

Better idea would be to flush it with vinegar first, but eh..

Meanwhile, Chevy and their stupid commercials are crying in a corner

I won’t tail gate you, if you insist on camping on the left side, I’ll pass you on the right when it’s safe. Either way, Biturbowagon, you are a DOUCHEBAG.

LOL THIS

I don’t know why Jalopnik writers love this ‘Engineering Explained’ guy so much. His videos have NOTHING to do with engineering. The channel should be called ‘Cars Explained’ because nothing he talks about involves any sort of engineering.

Amen!

BMW, Mercedes, and Volkswagen have been using a “hot-V” layout for a few years now. It’s not innovative in the least in this day and age.

I don’t know if they still do this today. But back in the days when World Rally Championships was still on TV, mechanics were constantly siping the tires on their tires in the intermissions. But this was on off-road tracks only. As stated by Jerry Smith, this is a horrible idea on pavement.

My first attempt at drifting my 240sx put me straight into a curb where I promptly folded the driver’s side tie rod... 90 degrees.

What are you people getting at? Based on preliminary information, the pedestrian stepped out in front of the car and authorities believe that it would been difficult for even a human to avoid the collision. Are you people expecting the car’s computer to be able to foresee the future? Have x-ray vision? Slow down at

As an engineer and car enthusiast. I love hearing turbo rotaries blast around the track or on the street. And this is coming from someone with a 350 whp 4-cylinder piston engine.

I’m going to go on a limb here and guess you’re one of those people who get butt hurt about not wanting to shift your own gears. Or you only care about drag racing.

GM is known for spitting shit to other companies when they don’t have a piece of the pie yet. They had a huge marketing campaign and had their engineers saying that Toyota’s hybrid technology was a waste of money.

Nissan hasn’t updated the GTR and Z in forever. I’ll believe it when I see a new GTR. The Q60 is a huge turd with a turd of electronic steering nobody asked for. Those are not driver’s cars. I have a 350hp 240sx and I my buddy has a 400hp 300zx, but we hate the new Nissans.

Actually it looks a lot better than most 240's I see on the street.
