That’s not really fair to say, seeing as Minecraft was in alpha in 2010 and most people played it then. Minecraft definitely brought the genre into the limelight first.

It was far from perfect, the system was really easily cheesed and the enemy skill materia remove the challenge from the game.

It really was a lot of content. That’s what I love about XIV, every major patch is so exciting because they add a lot.
