This didn’t answer my question. Are you saying that as a consumer, you shouldn’t appreciate hard work?

What? Appreciating hard work? I’m a consumer, I want the best product possible.

I will say that Trails in the Sky was fantastic though. The extra work was definitely noticeable.

Apart from Kotaku.

It wouldn’t be E3 without a really cringy Microsoft presentation. Can’t wait :D

With a bit of Weaver thrown in.

Is there any point in discussing this, or are you committed to speaking in hyperbole?

Still hoping for the Dragon Quest series to be released on Steam after the mobile releases last year.

Well I guess LoL has a fanbase in the small community of people who like throwing money away.

Ok, so I just watched that AC video. Several times they admitted fault and said that they were sorry that they let down the fans. I don’t think you watched it all, or you’re being oblique on purpose.

MCC is still broken mate. I know you like the series, but don’t give it a free pass.

“free game where things aren’t actually free”

This is a terrible concept for a competitive game. “The journey is the reward.” is fine in an MMO or a single player RPG, but you’re essentially playing a game of blackjack without access to certain cards.

This is why DOTA 2 is considered objectively better.

I mean look at DOTA. You have similar roles, but each hero is different enough.

Therein lies my problem with LoL compared to DOTA. If I want to counter pick someone, I need to buy all the heroes.

Well no shit, when you’re comparing every single spin off from a well established franchise, vs a franchise that was basically new.

I mixed up Revelations and Brotherhood, but the rest of what I’ve said is accurate. I don’t particularly remember Brotherhood and Revelations.

AC1 was considered mediocre, whilst AC2 was considered good. AC Brotherhood was considered mediocre whilst AC Revelations was considered much better. AC3 was a disaster and AC Black flag was considered better. AC Unity was a disaster, Rogue was considered better.

How? A series that’s had more successes than disasters compared to a series that has been more disasters over successes. FF is a long running series that generally has a lot of time between releases, but they end up being polished experiences. AC releases almost yearly updates, with varying degrees of polish. I’d say
