@Monty: Ditto. I signed up for Hulu Plus when I got a net-enabled Blu-ray player.

@80Supra: You're absolutely right on an counts.
I certainly wish I was exalted enough to post a venn diagram of "Typical iPad User" vs. "Typical Daily Spews Reader."
Seems more like common sense than anything else. Something that is only a semi-emergency elsewhere could easily be life threatening. They aren't setup to deal with serious trauma or internal illness beyond stabilizing and transporting.
@OCEntertainment: I figure if you need the data right now, it might be annoying. But I seldom ever pull out my phone except as I've noted, so having to wait a minutes to sync is not a big deal for me.
@Cochese 2.0: Alabama? I don't know. You could end up with a huge feud. They're all blood relatives...
Finally!
@socket7: An electrically heated jacket actually does keep your extremities warm.
Milwaukee's jacket is cheaper and you can swap batteries if you're going to be out along time.
A G2 streaming Led Zeppelin from Pandora makes my Monday bearable.
@Cochese 2.0: The thing about the dodo is, that once you club them and skin them, the pelt isn't very warm. That's why I always advise people to only club baby harp seals.
@OCEntertainment: Nah, but I sprung for a new phone and the G2 has their version of 4G. I used to use a Slacker Portable Radio (coincidentally, also a called the "G2"), but since they couldn't give two damns and a farthing about gaining new licensing agreements for their cached music service, I jumped ship entirely…
@OCEntertainment: About the only time I use TMO's 4G is at work where it's on constantly for 9 hours a day.
@Almightywhacko: I may just be lucky, I get a good TMO "4G" even in my basement.
@Erik The Red: Glad I could help :-)
Hahha... This has got to be a prank. $20? Hell, even most porn sites don't charge that much and they do provide something much more useful than the NYT.
I'm using the ABBY Business Card Reader. It's pretty good. It does have a little problem with oddball fonts. But that's true of any OCR program.
As a short-term life boat, it could be darned handy for transferring an injured astronaut from a space station or other vehicle to the cargo bay of a shuttle where the injured party could be properly secured for landing.
@tomatO_-: Nice :-)
