I do that a lot :-) I love Manila. Though I haven't traveled much since 1981.
Evil is as evil does.
I have many fond memories of the Philippines. The people were friendly and warm. I can only echo your comments on the political corruption that is bringing the country low.
Philippines? That's a country, not a city. Also, "Paris of Asia" is a title more commonly associated with Shanghai, Hanoi, and Saigon.
What a wonderful idea! This is enough to push me to begin using Chrome.
I keep a close watch for other payment systems. I just won't buy if that's the only way the vendor can sell something. It's been annoying quite a few times, but I just won't do it.
Some are designed to steer to pre-determined area of a ship class that's stored in the missile's memory. If the missile is launched against a ship that's in the files, then it steers to the best attack point. If it's not, then some use a default. Older missiles just do their best to hit the target.

Who might want to toss a cruise missile our way.... Iran, maybe? Maybe Pakistan, in the future. Cruise missiles don't require a lot of infrastructure. You can…
I'm betting it won't be an issue. Of course, I can't guarantee it, but I'd feel okay living on land above it.
You are looking at a cruise missile platform from the view point of a navy with trillions to invest in large ships. Take a look at it from the viewpoint of a small country. War changes many things regarding the "rules." They tend to be thrown out the window once combat begins.
I couldn't agree more. That lift is an energy hog. The counterbalanced system ay Falkirk rocks.

I've always found that punches to the throat and eyes work rather well.
