I think it's a pretty cool idea. I would use it to control hallway lights. Painting a stripe down a long hallway wall or the wall of a staircase would be simpler to retrofit than pulling new romex for wall switches.

I've read that dodo meat tasted really good.

The alphabetical order thing also works in reverse. Being first in line for everything sucks. There are plenty of lines that no one wants to head up.

@SG-17: Honor Harrington :-)

@DrLocrian: All of the special/super/secret crime fighter stories fall in that category. Not shakespeare, but not comedies, either.

@Unica_Lucius: That is a very enlightening video. Thanks for posting it.

@Ronny: I'm using "Special Call." All I worry about is missing calls from two numbers if my phone is silent, so this app is perfect. If the numbers call, the phone rings.

@stevenjcarney: I'll let you have mine. Wait until you're old enough to feel your bones creak. You'll appreciate that 55 ;-)

@Cotes: You should define "Us" as everyone, not just your narrow band of friends.

@Cotes: You speak well, yet your comprehension leaves my wondering exactly what sort of upbringing you received.

@Annalee Newitz: It is available, though you may need to order it.

@reesiekitty: I have read that series so many times that I have had to replace two books.

@Impious1: What on earth could you do with Ivan that is both evil and interesting without first providing him a brain?

@Cotes: Do you not know that in the service...

I do that now. I wear a long-sleeved chambray shirt over a black t-shirt and a pair of plain wrangler blue jeans. That's it. There are many people who have never seen me wear anything else.

Rubbish. Utter, Rubbish.

I believe that this is very true. Reading a crappy font requires more concentration.

@djscruffy: You've lucked out asking me for that info as I have it all!

@djscruffy: Like so many other Hollywood shitfests, it's based on characters who have the same names, and do some things that are vaguely like the story.
