He did an awesome job casing the joint too.
I can’t agree that it’s Chris Paul’s fault that he’ll never win a championship, if I’m correct in assuming that’s what you’re implying. Injuries, shitty teammates and the Warriors being (probably) the best team of all time is the main reason he’ll (probably) never win a championship.
As a Rockets fan I disagree with all of these reasonable and accurate points.
totally. Just thought that they could’ve done it once to spare this embarrassment.
because nobody watches the WNBA and there is no money to do such a thing.
Out of the AL and into LA??
Counterpoint to number three:
And regarding your third point, once you get to be as good as Trout, you just start getting intentionally walked a bunch. Which sucks! I went to an Angels game a few weeks ago specifically to see Trout and Ohtani, and Trout got walked twice. What a fucking letdown. Forget banning the shift, ban the intentional walk.
1. Baseball is highly regional, unlike the NFL (and NBA?). Unless you have a specific MLB package you can’t turn on the TV and accidentally run into Mike Trout.
To be fair, the focus of his ads is to reach his home market, and that alone is an upstream battle.
Prejections have nothing to do with value. They are an extrapolation of previous performance, weighted to the most recent. Degrom has been the best and most valuable pitcher in the NL by any reasonable measure. What happens going forward on an individual basis is very hard to accurately predict and there will be much…
DeGrom has a 1.68 ERA on a team that regularly starts Jose Bautista in the field.
And hello to you, guy who is doing great but not quite as good as deGrom so far this season.
So...this dude climbs up 11 thousand feet...busts out his cell phone...calls the cops on himself....and claims he is going to intentionally OD on pills...
Who the bloody hell climbs to the top of a mountain to announce they’re going commit suicide by overdose?!
Here I am at my house in a moderately populated area trying to call for pizza but get no reception and this dude can call for help off the top of a mountain?
Never apologize for accuracy.
I think it’s safe to say when an article/post refers to a Chinook as a “big ol’ two-blade helicopter” the only ‘fact’ you can trust from the author is that maybe an aircraft was involved, everything else is a crapshoot.
I dunno if Chinooks are “most commonly used in search and rescue operations in Afghanistan.” Although they are used for that purpose, they’re most commonly used for special operations and personnel transfer. Pedantic! I know! I’m sorry!
