Care to mention what part of that quote is "political"? Just because it mentions a supposed politician doesn't make it a political observation. It's a completely factual observation of the current reality we're all facing.

They had a separate blog for politics, and then it got killed because when you ask these people to write about politics it’s bad. And not the funny kind of bad, the kind of bad that makes you question the author’s intelligence and makes them lose credibility on all subjects, not just politics.
You know, they used to say that about Toyota, but there are a lot of former tacoma people out there since the introduction of good trucks like the ZR2 and Gladiator. Never rest on your laurels and always defend you turf.
I think they’ll poach a small amount of Jeep cross-shoppers. It happens, but I don’t think it will be half or even a quarter of existing Jeep buyers. I think most sales will be new buyers that may have considered a Jeep, but never wanted to venture into that Chrysler territory and possibly other Ford brand die-hards.
Great! Looks good. Nice price. No pics of the second car though? You get two for that price, right?
We have an ’07 sedan in the family, so same generation of Legacy. It was my personal ride for a while. I liked it, but I wouldn’t call it extraordinary. The thought of paying $12k for one in 2020 is laughable...mayyyybe if it was both spotless and exceptionally low mileage.
I’ve never been able to understand the notion of a sporty wagon. I mean, I get it - you want something that doesn’t wallow in the turns quite as much as it could. And having spent a fair amount of time in every seat of some full size 1960s American wagons, I know from wallowing.
I know the prices on these are insane. but at 12k, that is bit more than I would pay. And this is without the “improvements”.
^^^ this. Europeans haven’t figured out that the cologne craze ended 30 years ago.
Nah, the berlin subway doesn’t smell that bad.
In The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany i’ve had more occasions on which i was gravely offended by the odour of someone using wayyyy too much deodorant and perfume.
Particularly in the Netherlands, some people use so much that you can smell it from a couple of meters away.
I’ve never been to Germany, but if their hygiene habits are on par with those of France & Italy, the average citizen is already well on their way.
The BMW Subscription Service is approved. The system goes on-line August 4th, 2021. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. BMW Subscription Service begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug. The BMW…
Lol yup, braincrossed 5.56 and 7.62. I need my coffee.
You mean 7.62mm? But yeah, the UAW better arm up.
Yes, I don’t think Toyota can do a classic take over. They are so big that anti-trust courts in various countries will object.
Everybody wants Jeep. Who wouldn’t want a ravening horde of faithful buyers who will step up to whatever clatterbox wearing the Jeep badge? It’s like Harley-Davidson but without the high blood pressure and angina.
When car shopping for my wife Nissan was the only dealer we just walked the fuck out without talking to anyone. Checked out a pathfinder on the showroom floor. It looked and felt like junk, was priced worse than competitors, and to boot despite 5 sales people standing there scratching their asses not one came up and…
Picked up my company car Nissan Rogue on Monday.
In the interest of saying only nice things: It has bigger cup holders than my old Subaru and it came with a (miserable) first aid kit.
I’ve bitched about this change over here a lot, because I’m whiny little shit, even though it’s a company car. Now that I’ve seen the…
Nissan may have to take that up as a second job to pay the bills with the numbers they posted.
I’ve always felt the Corvair was the American attempt at the sporty European coupes, ala 2002 and the 911. You had designers who came back after the war with an appreciation of light weight and better handling, unlike the massive land barges of the day. The original attempt was the Corvette; it was lightweight and…
