“but that car doesn’t come with all of Tesla’s Autopilot features”
There are still a good number of sacrifices/compromises to be made with an electric vehicle. An EV may suit my needs 75% of the time, but what about the other 25%? The days when my kid has a Dr’s appointment across town, and the other one has a concert/athletic event on the other side of town? The economical EVs are…
Right now, I would bet the majority of Americans couldn't identify an EV other than Tesla, the Bolt, and the Prius, so I'm actually a little surprised it's as high as 50%.
No, I think he means it’s big out there. A 125 mile range, when the vehicle is new, and the ambient temperature is favorable, isn’t going to cut it.
Dude, I literally had a telecon disseminating the results of our employee engagement survey a couple days ago. This is spot on.
Shitbag fled, which escalated the situation. This could have been resolved in a 10 minute conversation with the police. Instead Shitbag blew the situation up.
Sure, running vastly improves your chances of surviving an encounter with the police. They are much more likely to react with a level headed, calm response after you've fled and run multiple red lights.
Right? This dude turned what could have been a ten minute conversation that concluded with, “In the future, just keep it down, son.”
/s for stupid?
I guess you’re too stupid to comprehend that the police would not have had to engage in a pursuit had the shitbag stopped and had a conversation with the officer. There’s no scenario where running from the police will make your situation better.
He just told me yesterday that my personal experience didn’t apply widely to society in general.
Why is it that all you cop hating, criminal apologists fail to place blame on the fucking shitbags that decide to flee what would likely be an uneventful encounter?
It'd look a lot better without the vinyl. Those panels look like shit.
I’m not disagreeing with that, however, the #1 way to avoid being in a police is to not run from the police.
No, dude, I fucking pull the car over, show some personal accountability, and take my ticket. I DO NOT speed away, risking my life, and other’s lives, so I can avoid the stupid ticket.
“Those who had committed a crime or were suspected of committing a crime, were precluded from their right to a fair trial, and their lives ended prematurely.”
I have suddenly lost my job, twice. Made out okay because I wasn’t over extended. I knew my limits, and stayed well within them. No flashy cars, no fancy house, and no credit cards, other than what was absolutely necessary to live in today’s world.
Ha! Joke’s on you. I was laid off unexpectedly from my residential construction job in the crash, but, because of my previous good choices, I was able to ride it out, keep my house, keep my truck, retrain, and now I have an even better job.
By “bad faith argument,” are you referring to the viewpoint I’ve developed based on personal experience, and actual observation of human behavior over nearly 40 years on the planet?
Not a republican, not a conservative. What I witnessed was not isolated incidents. I worked at a couple different grocery stores. One small, one larger chain. I saw it over and over again for years.
