@Juventina: small key limes that she uses in every way she can think of. I think she must have some kind of magic because if she decides that something that shouldn't work will, it always does!

@Juventina: a friend of mine grows her own limes in her kitchen. She keeps a bottle of gin next to them to inspire them to grow stronger every day.

@PidgeInParis: If it makes you feel any better, I had white donuts hanging off of the ceiling and the kids had to try and eat them as the donuts spun around wildly refusing to be caught. It was fun.

My high school boyfriend (1977) had his photo retouched. I just WISH he had been as good-looking as the guy who stared out at me.

Why can't we have holiday that requires a good hat? Easter doesn't count. Can't every First Thursday in June be Hatteramas? Wouldn't Cape Hatteras be a lovely venue for our national Hat Competition?

All of this was EVEN BETTER than the fresh Amish pretzel I had with horseradish mustard for lunch. Today is a good day.
