Commercial kitchens exist so small companies can rent that space and produce their products. That’s my take, too. Taking up the lenient plea deal and oh idk maybe learning how to legally sell her ceviche would be too much work so why not risk actual jail time while also hoping the public sympathizes with you.

Nowhere did I say jail time was deserved here but I guess bc I agree with the law I’m horrible. She passed up a more lenient plea. She broke the law. Idk what else you want me to say except selling food out of your home kitchen is illegal for a reason.

I’m going to be annoying but there is a reason there are food safe laws. I’m not saying this woman’s ceviche is going to make you sick, but selling food that you make in your standard kitchen cannot be guaranteed safe.
