I’m pretty anti “classic” bar music, so I steer clear of anything on the Journey/Sweet Caroline/songs only drunk people like track. I like to think of picking out songs that I’m making a playlist that I would want to hear while partying and just go from there. It’s like a puzzle.

Last night was super varied bc the bartender, who I like to placate, enjoys Alice in Chains while I prefer a more broad set, including but not limited to Kendrick, Talk Talk, and M83.
