The specific problem with liberal-type thinking is this - why can’t I make everyone else do what I think they should do? Shortsighted and selfish, yes, but I think it explains their position.

He actually chose a Valiant for the Michigan winters; only worst choice is anything older then the Valiant. A 70s Pinto would be a more sensible choice.
