Heres an idea, maybe let’s not cancel shows just because some police are racist pieces of shit?
It’s tricky though, when you offer games that were huge hits a lot of people already have them or have played them. For me personally, I already have Dying Light and many... many... different ways to play Dark Souls. V-Rally and Inquisitor though? These are the games I need free, the ones no one bought.
I have no doubt I’ll get shit for this but... why is this even on kotaku?
I’m old, so my takeaway from reading this might not be accurate but this is what I got...
That’s honestly the gist of the kind of articles Grayson writes here. The subject has unfailingly always been about attractive female streamers, and he’s putting the spotlight on them. It comes across as him doing it to get the attention or get into the good graces of these streamers, and combined with creepy stories…
While “OK Boomer Girl” blew up on Twitter, Biden went on to win states he didn’t even campaign in with 1/3rd of the funds Bernie raised. And the youth turonout this primary season has been dismal.
A hard lesson in how preening for fake internet points doesn’t actually win you anything in reality.
Really?
“Perfect Storm”—- Ohhhkk. Whatever you want to call your cleavage. Good on her for keeping up the momentum, but a spade is a spade.
I’m officially too old to “get” streamer culture. Like I get it, but I don’t “get” it.
“prequels at least had a direct, character development and flow”
Characters in the prequels talk like a not-particularly-convincing AI wrote them. Unnervingly, that AI is George Lucas.
The version we got was still better than the prequels and Return of the Jedi.
If you say it’s worse than Solo — which I’m not sure I would — and better than the Ewok movies, that makes it the seventh best film out of 13, so squarely in the middle of the pack.
Oh No! Spoilers for a game that’s been out for 2 decades - so scary!
My issue isn’t about what he said. As I said, I personally agree with his sentiment even if I’m not allowed to vote. The facts are: He endorses a certain political viewpoint and is allowed to do so when he shouldn’t be. It’s not about politics but rules.
This feels like the most manufactured of manufactured controversies. I Googled “savage” as requested, and got the following as the first result.
None of the definitions feel inherently racist, and the initial adjectival definition feels like it serves the game perfectly. Sure, the developers *could* have chosen a…
trying to manufacture controversy where none exists
If Kotaku wasn’t the only games site that got through the filter on my work computer I’d never come here again.
Man, I certainly appreciate that there are other perspectives out there than my own, but as someone who likes to think they’re incredibly sympathetic (empathetic when I can be), shit like this drives me absolutely nuts.
uuuuuugh
I can't believe people take video game cosmetics this seriously, but here we are.
In a rational world that valued outcome as much as intent, this would be greeted as the equivalent of shouting “Heil Hitler”. I don’t care how “well intentioned” you think communism is “on paper”, it’s a genocidal weapon of mass economic and spiritual destruction. That said, there is a 99% possibility that the leftist…
