honestly these days you cant say anything without someone thinking your offending someone. usually when the person is calling that out, they arnt part of the community they think someone is offending.
That tweet wasn't transphobic.
It’s not a market, though. Mutual Funds, Stocks, et al at least pretend to be tied to the real world. Pieces might bottom out but somewhere in the mix is an actual product making people actual money. The tide is low in crypto right now right now, but there is always the possibility of someone pulling the stopper out…
Thor’s big damn hero arrival in Wakanda, with that wonderful Avengers theme soaring in the background, was definitely the inspirational high point of the movie, and Banner’s, “Oh, you guys are screwed now!” was the biggest laugh line in my theater.
I agree, and it wouldn’t have been possible without Ragnarok. That movie gave the character of Thor a personality and an identity. Having IW come so soon after Ragnarok was perfect timing.
Even knowing the ending of infinity war whem Thor cane out of nowhere amd planted that battle axe in Thano's chest I was overcome with joy amd believed for just a moment that my man ahad just saved the day. Thor is to The Avengers what Superman is to the Justice League, at least thats how I want it to be.
Thor’s a big part of what makes the first Avengers work, too. His first appearance there, and the ensuing fight with Iron Man, is the moment that movie fully won me over. And of all the jokes in all the MCU, none crack me up quite like Hemsworth quietly insisting “He’s adopted” after hearing an account of Loki’s…
If you had told me after the first Thor that Chris Hemsworth would end up anchoring a massive crossover superhero movie with his comedic timing and emotional range, I would have been...skeptical. But he was almost the MVP of Infinity War. I was stunned, even after enjoying the hell out of Ragnarok.
Norm MacDonald is a national treasure. He may not be the best stand up or joke writer, but his deconstruction of comedy, his unequaled story telling ability, sharp ad-lib wit, satire, meanness, and delivery are second to none.
‘why the hell Norm MacDonald keeps getting work.’
If your barometer for ‘good comedian’ comes from them being an SNL castmember, you must not know a lot about comedy.
I’m being sexist because I reported how things are at my workplace? ROTFL. FFS, no one expected thm to be that way bc of their gender. They are that way bc they choose to be that way.
In my workplace, the women are the most horrible catty two-faced gossips, so, not convinced that one gender is more likely to be good if the power were balanced between the two. (I am a woman).
That’s the problem, right? If there was NO relationship at all, it would be okay. If there was a straight relationship, and they killed the girl, “fridge”. Now, with the gay relationship, “bury your gays”, forgetting that Shiro is alive and gay, so... damned if do, damned if you don’t. If they want character growth…
Eh, it’s the internet: People gotta bitch about something on the internet.
I’m really not getting how everyone forces this into the “bury your gays” trope - and it sounds like Dos Santos wasn’t expecting people to jump to that connection, either.
Between this and the Ruby Rose thing, is it just me or is there a bit of dogmatic purity problem among LGBTQ+ activists?
There is only white gravy with copious amounts of pepper to go on a country fried cut of meat.
