That’s OK. If he made it down there, the guy would’ve just shotgunned him to death. Such is Fortnite.

Oh noes. You won’t stream for one day. So, you’re totally using something you’re vitriolically against when it suits your needs, but you have to take a stand for one day? Your parent company, and many that work for them, laud Amazon on the daily and have been promoting up Prime Day for close to a month now. If you’re

The guy has a character named after him in the game. He might be a ‘rando asshat’ to the vast majority of regular people, but to the Guild War 2 community he is a well respected and established member of the community, follower-count be damned.

OBVIOUSLY the company bred a culture of misogyny and sexism is the ONLY reason she possibly could have been let go.

Thank you for this. If a man is being sexist, call his ass out on it, but simply being a female does not insulate you from all criticism, and it certainly doesn’t mean that all criticism comes from a place of misogyny.

Nail on the fuckin’ head. Don’t give it if you can’t take it.

Hey, that’s fine. As I’ve said: everyone involved, in my opinion, is shit. Ms. Price, ArenaNet, and the Reddit Neckbeards. I just found it glaring that the author tried to paint her as completely innocent, which she most obviously was not.

Just because a man offers a dissenting opinion, or an opinion at all, does not make it ‘mansplaining’, which is also one of the more idiotic fucking terms coined in the past decade - on par with YOLO. Gender/sex had absolutely NOTHING to do with the situation until she made it so.

....I mentioned that my comment was full of half-truths and speculation. You can’t use that as a dig against me when I admitted as much. Based on the comments to her being..... let’s say ‘snarky’ to her clientele, it looks like people had been calling her out for this. This situation was simply the straw that broke

If you worked for Twitch and shared these opinions on the biggest public forum in the world: you bet your ass Twitch would fire you. If you work for Wendy’s: probably not.

Hey, I don’t have a dog in the fight here. I’m just showing that she’s not without fault. What I will say, however, is there is no longer such a thing as a personal social media (misnomer not only in name) in this day and age. She was a KNOWN employee of ArenaNet, even stating so in her bio, talking about the works

Or maybe, just MAYBE she deserved to be fired for her actions AND the subreddit deserves to be banned. Just because you have one villain doesn’t mean the other side is a hero: they can both be villains.

Because she also hates Peter Thiel and you know, that whole Gawker thing...

Or maybe they fired her because she constantly attacked the fanbase, praised the death of a cancer sufferer, and was unable to handle any form on criticism without shouting ‘sexism’? Just a thought, but this view shares as much credence as the one provided above, ie: half-truths and speculation. ;)

Got me. Also got me on why Price was let go; I’m just saying she’s not completely innocent and her Twitter is full of the same type of tweets. For somebody that is a public mouthpiece for a company, you have to have some awareness.

As for the mob mentality: welcome to 2018. We have people getting fired because of

Well, here’s her upstanding TotalBiscuit tweet:

Two Guild Wars 2 narrative designers, Jessica Price and Peter Fries, were fired after Jessica attacked a well-established community member for asking a questions, shouted sexism, and refused to back down. This led people to dig into her Twitter page and realize she frequently posts opinions that ArenaNet does not

7 stars are officially launching in August, after the enhancements to the Veritas’ drop. As for making 7 star units: Max out one 5 star base to 100 and drop in a dupe. Add about 3 million gold and you get a level 100 7 star unit. Now, spend the next 5,000 cactaurs you have maxing them out to 120. :D

7 Star Units FTW!!

I have twice - TWICE - made chicken fried steak with gravy, only to have used powdered sugar instead of flour. Both times I didn’t notice until AFTER I fried the chicken and wondering why the gravy wouldn’t thicken no matter how much ‘flour’ I put in it.
