Thank you for this. If a man is being sexist, call his ass out on it, but simply being a female does not insulate you from all criticism, and it certainly doesn’t mean that all criticism comes from a place of misogyny.

I have twice - TWICE - made chicken fried steak with gravy, only to have used powdered sugar instead of flour. Both times I didn’t notice until AFTER I fried the chicken and wondering why the gravy wouldn’t thicken no matter how much ‘flour’ I put in it.
