LUKE!
LUKE!
That’s my biggest problem with Supes and Batman: their inability to actually off these psychopaths have led to the deaths of thousands. As far as I’m concerned, the blood is on their hands.
My wife is REALLY not into horror. If she unexpectedly watches a horror trailer she has nightmares (they showed the Nun trailer ahead of Tag and I had to hold her while she fell asleep).
So, does this mean that Epic will now sue Bluehole for stealing their idea? Anyone?
Is it even a debate if they came close to ‘winning’ E3? No Animal Crossing, no Metroid, no Yoshi, and 30 minutes of a greatest hits Smash Bros? If I wasn’t on my work computer, I’d have the Billy Madison thumbs down .gif here, so assume that it’s so.
As I’ve stated before, its seems like it’s ok to objectify as long as you get to fuck the character. At least, based on the paragraphs written to me about this, that seems to be the stance taken. I personally don’t have a problem with this in either case, but the blatant hypocrisy shown by Kotaku is laughable. I just…
Objectifying is objectifying, regardless of the platform. It sounds like you’re saying it’s ok to objectify sexes in games as long as you can fuck them. Neat place to draw that line.
*troll*
Nah. It’s hypocrisy.
Nope. Just enjoy pointing out hypocrisy.
Well, he’s not wrong.
Not sure if the comment was directed to me or not, but I’m the one calling out the double standard and not agreeing with it. Bruh.
So, it’s ok to objectify women and men as long as the goal of the game is to fuck them? Is that what you’re saying? Because it sounds like that’s what you’re saying. There is a whole genre of games where the object of the game is LITERALLY the objectification of women and these games are praised on Kotaku, yet a…
Kotaku: Why does Soil Calibur continue to objectify women? It’s 2018!
Hey, SCIV was pretty good.
So, they can hold the industry as a whole to their standard but can’t even keep their small cadre of professionals together? Seems right.
Charles is quickly becoming my least favorite writer here on the Gawker-verse, and that’s saying a lot. :/
Yeah, don’t put “” around something the man never said. He said that the digital artists are so precise and accurate with their work that it’s almost like they are applying digital makeup. It was praise, not downplaying their talent. The ‘button push’ comment came from the director to alleviate the stupid outrage.
THAT’S uncluttered and straight-forward? It doesn’t even follow traditional comics reading format. Yuck.
