They did Jack dirty in 3.

I believe ME:A to be a good GAME, but a bad MASS EFFECT game, much in the same way I believe Halo 5 to be a good game but a terrible Halo game. Without expectations, history, etc. it may well be the best game of all time. As it is, however, it stands in the shadow of the Mass Effects that came before and get hidden in…
See, my only missing achievement from ME1 is BECAUSE of Liara. I’ve tried three separate times to get the ‘Asari Ally” to pop, and I complete the whole damned 40 hour game (I mean, you can’t just blaze through ME without exploring, right?) to not have it ding. DAMN YOU LIARA!
Yeah, I put 40 hours into Andromeda. If it can’t get its hooks in me in that long of a ‘test’ period, then it’s never going to. I plan on someday going back and finishing it, because I do see its merits, but as a Mass Effect game it falls woefully short.
Thane, Jack, Tali, Garrus, Wrex, Liara, Samara, Kasumi...
Fuck. That.
I’ve played through the original trilogy 4 separate times (Male and Female, both Renegade and Paragon). I can quote many of the scenes by heart; other scenes I can play with my eyes closed. One of these days I swear I’ll go and get the TWO missing achievements from the entire trilogy (1 from 1, 1 from 3 DLC). I own…
The internet has made virtually every fanbase toxic.
......ho...how is it like that? One’s real and one is purely a fantasy OF fantasy. Why do people get ‘emotionally invested’ over who has sex with who?
No, it’s a subset of fandom, but that’s arguing semantics. How does it carry “more emotional investment” by fantasizing over who has sex with who? I’ve never read one fanfaction - of anything - and I’ve never had a ‘ship’ fantasy and I’ve been borderline obsessed with more than a few universes in my day.
Fine, ship. It’s your choice. But don’t petition the CREATORS of the fiction to make your ‘ship’ (god, I hate that word) canon, and then get pissed off when they don’t.
Wow. Just, wow. I especially liked the part where you can’t wait for everybody 40+ to die. Oh, guess what though? I’d still be here, telling the youngins that a trying to be a professional gamer is not a viable career option. (As I wrote the original post I was still in my 20s, so...)
By getting rid of Jeff Fisher.
I didn’t say that he shouldn’t complete. I was more reading into the article and the writer’s persuasions to say that a chance at a prize winning is not a career. You have a much higher chance to play any professional sport than you are to make a living playing video games (people participating in event / people…
NASCAR and F1 racers as well as golfers come from VERY wealthy parents that allow their children to make a living playing a game. In the case of NASCAR and especially F1, these teams frequently hemorrhage money to keep their kid’s dream afloat. Can you make money playing eSports? Absofuckinglutely. The problem is you…
Both Paul brothers are pieces of shit.
Man, I loved this game. The quirky sprites, the first person dungeon, and (of course) the music. Reading this article, I had both the Storybook Theme and the Labrynth Proper running through my head. Classic.
4 and 6 are ‘fucking incredible’ and the top two in the series. Gameplay and storywise 7 doesn’t hold a candle to the SNES masterpieces. As I’ve stated elsewhere, 7 is in an odd place as an early 3D RPG and no, it doesn’t hold up graphically, but for many it was their first FF, if not their first RPG altogether, and…
No. No spite at all, but compared to the earlier FF games (IV and VI), it’s very subpar gameplay/storywise and compared to the later 3D FF games (IX and X) it doesn’t hold up that well graphically and otherwise. For many, it was their first FF game, if not their first RPG, and it holds a special place in their hearts.…
True, but those animated spells/abilities got pretty damned old. And no airship. Other than that, I agree with you.
