Except XV is better than X, if for no other reasons that Noctis is 12% less annoying than Titus and the story in XV made 3% more sense than X.

‘Just imagine it the gameplay was better’
That’s 90% of the problem. I should have to pay more than my $60 after a game is in development for a decade to get a complete experience.
Almost at 90 hours, level 80-something through terrible combat, a broken story, and the worst video game car ever.
And point is the game series that is most critically acclaimed.
God Dammit.
By your ‘logic’, Mario and Zelda should be the best series ever made by default (with Final Fantasy close behind) based on the sheer universal praise and hitting the target audience. You’d be right if you ignored the fact that Mario releases the same game every 3 years with new levels/costumes and Zelda hasn’t made a…
I enjoyed scanning. Cathartic. Also, as I’ve stated elsewhere, I was less let down by the ending than most. Also, the Citadel DLC righted any wrong they had committed, and stands as my favorite piece of Bioware content every released (and that’s saying a lot).
Meh.
If you would honestly go and play old Atari games than Mass Effect, more power to ya’. I, on the other hand, will go back to courting alien women for my harem.
You believe Gears of War is a better game series than Mass Effect and MY logic is flawed? C’mon, man.
My opinion is right and your opinion is wrong!
The Witcher series is an odd duck to me. By all accounts I should love the series (great combat, fantasy setting, mature story), but I can’t. I’ve started part 2 on four separate occasions and 3 twice and I can’t get into them. I can see what’s there and I understand what I’m missing, but it’s just completely BLAH to…
Being that I’ve purchased Metroid Prime on 3 separate consoles (GameCube, Wii, WiiU) because of universal praise and haven’t been able to make it to the halfway point on any playthrough, I’m still going to have to give my vote to ME.
1. No.
Mass Effect 1 is VASTLY diffferent from 2 and 3. If your biggest gripe with 1 was that it was somewhat of a slog (i.e. early western RPG), then give 2 a shot. There’s even a ‘choose your own adventure’ at the beginning of 2 that allows you to make the decisions from 1 without playing it.
Half the people hate the fact that the series shifted after 1.
I am one of the biggest Halo fans of all time.
My issues is I have about 7 guys under me and when I take vacation I always get the ‘What’re you doing’ from them and the ‘Are you sure they won’t burn the place down’ from the higher ups. So, rather than deal with all that BS to take a day off to veg out on the couch, it’ll just be easier to call in sick and play…
On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, I will be suffering from a mild cold and calling in ‘sick’ to work on March 21st.
