I am one of the biggest Halo fans of all time.
I am one of the biggest Halo fans of all time.
My issues is I have about 7 guys under me and when I take vacation I always get the ‘What’re you doing’ from them and the ‘Are you sure they won’t burn the place down’ from the higher ups. So, rather than deal with all that BS to take a day off to veg out on the couch, it’ll just be easier to call in sick and play…
On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, I will be suffering from a mild cold and calling in ‘sick’ to work on March 21st.
Did I say that? I play the shit outta that game. I’m addicted. I just don’t want to have to buy an Ariana Grande song to level up my characters. Tie-ins suck for games - period.
GOD DAMMIT.
So, you took off Ori to add two more third party non-exclusives? For shame.
Did you just call Mass Effect mediocre? BLASPHEMER!
DID I STUTTER?!?
True, true.
Exactly. Ergo, I’m right. Right?
The only one that I could kind of get on there is Diablo, simply because of time input it might rival my Mass Effect time. And you speak of a disjointed experience (genre-wise), but bring up Warcraft, which went from RTS to MMO. Arkham games were fun, but nowhere near the epic of ME, same with Unharted. Never…
It’s ok. I had a thing for Amy Lee back in the day, too.
I love the original Halo games and I understand some people’s adoration for Metroid Prime (tried to get into the first one almost a dozen times because of the praise. Hated it.), but nothing on the last even holds a candle to Mass Effect, to me personally. Not even close.
Hey, I said series. Dig-Dug 2: The Duggening was a huge letdown.
Har-dee-har. (Says the guy whose name is a play on a late-90's alt-rock band).
Take off your old-school goggles and realize the VAST majority of what was released at that time is shit. Sure, you have some of the greatest games of all time, but for every Final Fantasy Tactics and Panzer Dragoon Saga, you have 20 Roboticas and Tunnel B1s. PS1/Saturn era did some things right, but so much so, so…
Yeah, but I’m going to have to go ahead and disagree with you again. Some PS1/Saturn games are still stellar, but the VAST majority of them are shovelware. I’ve been playing since the Intellivision and have had my fair share of challenges based on the rules of the game. There is, however, difficulty based on the rules…
Limited saves, clunky controls, poor aiming. Ergo, Dead Rising was built on the foundation of PS1-era games, which are simply no longer fun to play. I understand that the games are 360/PS3 there, bud, but the aforementioned ‘systems’ are much older. Clear?
I had little to no interest in the new Dead Rising because I got sick of the tired, archaic ‘systems’ the series employed. You negative article has convinced me to give this a try. It sounds like it retained what I liked about Dead Rising while losing what you found unique. I found Dead Rising’s moments of open-world…
