I’ve never cared for this man or watched more than 30 seconds of one of his videos.

Instead of ‘faking it’ to line his pockets further? Still applaud him.
I see nothing wrong with this.
But... but Scooby-Doo is a cartoon dog.
I gotta give it to the man for not performing while his audience yells ‘Dance, Monkey. Dance.’
I don’t know if I will appreciate this post more or less once I find out if you’re trolling or not...
Bad troll is bad.
Yes, being directed by Spielberg, director of Jurassic Park, ET, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind IS a surefire sign of quality.
Yes. All I read is shitty, Twilight-level books, which is so apparent from the fact that I have the audacity to both like Ready Player One and *gasp* find it original.
Notice that he IS directing it:
Good job editing your post rather than replying. Real stand up job there.
Take all the originality of RP1 and replace it with The Last Starfighter. Not bad by any means, just not ‘new’ or great.
I read an abnormal amount. Between actual reading and audiobooks, I’m over 60 books this year. The amount I’ve read doesn’t play into how much I enjoy something.
First, read his post. He starts off with ‘Growing up Gamer. Ugh, gross.’ Not sure how that possibly can be construed other than negative to those that did grow up gamers, or gamers in general. Just because Ernest Cline says he grew up gamer and wrote a book centered around those ideas does not mean that is garbage…
Ugh, gross. If your entire personality is defined [bashing fanbases/works anonymously on the internet], you are a garbage person. [ThreeOneFive] is unbelievably awful and embodies everything wrong with [the Gawkerverse].
I’m about 20% through, and it feels like Ready Player One the beta. Not only is it completely stuffed with pop culture references, they are the SAME references from RP1. I’m not not enjoying it so far, but if his third book is nothing but early video game nostalgia woven around a gossamer frame again, I will…
Huh. And here I was thinking it was one of the most original and enjoyable reads I’ve had in years. I must be wrong.
You must be a blast at parties.
F Murky’s bubble. That is all.
The tens of thousands of people still regularly playing Diablo 3 beg to differ.
