It’s a bike lane dude lol, as someone who has ridden in DC and Virginia from time to time, it’s paramount you try to maintin some amount of pace, and if you park next to a bike lane it’s your job as a motorist to watch out for other vehicles, yes that includes bikes. It s just the same as watching for a car.
