That thing is just begging for the RWB Big Lego Widebody Kit. I’m sure Nakai-san could whip that together pretty quick; 4 cigarettes install time max.

This article is fantastic ‘lopnik.

Oh, it far from fully abides. This is why I didn’t spend as much time talking about the golden ratio application as much as the ‘rule of thirds’ approach.

Not trolling. :) All I’m saying is that I just copy/pasted a google image result of the golden ratio, assumed it was ‘accurate’ as was, and then increased its size [per scale] until the center and ends matched up. Thus then seeing how the headlights fell in the order of things.

I superimposed the Golden Ratio image and then scaled up that image until the outer end touched the far edge. Therefore, the height was simply an effect of that scaling.

As mentioned elsewhere in the comments, overlaying something like the Golden Ratio can perhaps shed some light on how the differing arrangements play out in this particular situation:

...I’d buy this new car (if available in NA, if available with a stick)

....hhhrrnnngg, I’m good.

They hadn’t, and apparently I way underestimated.

Battlecar, no. But I wanted to not automatically have to be weary of every speedbump, odd curb, or rutty side street I may want to go venturing down.

2012 MINI Clubman S that is getting a 2" lift. :)

Are you referencing me as a millenial? Interesting...

Sounds practical. Thanks, Batman!

Correct, I underestimated. And I don’t think the M5 is worth $90k either.

I messed up by removing “pure” in the descriptor. The argument was that this Caddy fell into the “pure performance sedans” ‘category’. And I wished to call balderdash on that.

Someone else in this string pointed out to this catering strictly to the luxury elitist who need a 550hp luxo-barge because it’s elite, has enough power to push around its two tons, and is all refined and all that nonsense. That’s fine. It’s M5'ish, it’s an AMG’ish Merc (all these things had been pointed out).

I was trying to ‘give it a break’ and not overestimate. Again, the more expensive it gets, the less attractive it becomes given what it offers. So, your helping my point.

I love Puddles. Amazing voice.

Will do; thanks!

You see, but jokes are funny...
