Yeah, but it's interesting how Iwan Rheon's depiction of him humanizes him somewhat. NOT when he's being the sadistic murderer brutalizing people but outside of those scenes, he's definitely less repulsive than the book Ramsey.

This is truly a blood-less song. Like it was ghost-written by Maroon 5 or something.

It's great. It's actually based on the Saxon Stories series of books by Bernard Cornwell I was talking about.

When she started praying over his body, I thought it would have been really funny if she just tiredly pulled out her tits. Just resignedly pulled down her shirt enough to give the obligatory viewing, and with bust exposed continued on along with her chanting. But she didn't and the scene ended up being really good

Your description of the Ironborn of that era is the better one. And Victarion is a brute and it's no fun being in his head like you say. But he's not the worst character in the books, though he might be the most unpleasant POV character. I guess what I'm saying is that I'd rather be in Victarion's head than Euron's

Well there was that one guy who turned into wight in season one. He attacked Commander Mormont and Jon intervened. That guy died beyond the wall but was brought back in. But I don't know why Jon didn't wight up. Maybe it has something to do with his connection to Ghost, or the fact he's probably Azor Ahai.

Everything is made better by referencing Electric Boogaloo.

When I was reading the books I also thought that Victarion the character was boring, though his mission was awesome. But now, I think GRRM nailed Victarion as a depiction of a true viking warrior, something the show never really evoked. I've been reading Bernard Cornwell's Saxon stories and Victarion is the only

This episode made me happy. Everything in it worked for me, except the lengthy death of scene of Lady Walda and her baby. That was an entirely wasted few minutes and un-fun to watch as well. We get it D and D, hell, we got it ages ago: Ramsey is an unmediated psycho. Arya's arc is also a bit boring for me at this

Bernie strikes me as a genuinely hard-working guy who has been fighting the good fight for a really long time. This is where I first heard about him: http://www.rollingstone.com…
Someone needs to give a member of Congress a platform to speak to a national audience and Taibbi did here. Until Bernie ran, I think Taibbi

I never said I wanted ideological purity. Money doesn't always win elections and in that way, the focus on money in our politics is overblown. However it does often help (particularly in a low name recognition situations) and the two party duopoly really knows how to keep that donor money flowing. The bigger problem

Burgle! beer in Inherent Vice cracked me up.

You really would. I hate roasts. I've never really understood them.

I was purposely exaggerating my anger. I thought the exclamation marks would show that, but I probably should have used a LOT more. But though exaggerated, my anger is real, yes. Maybe what the Pres said wasn't meant in a mean way, but I'm also sure that the Obama thinks Bernie is naive. And maybe Bernie is naive

Fair point. He also accepted more money from Wall Street in 2008 than John McCain, but of course, he never tooted that horn. And he has been fully co-opted by that industry during his time as president. I like some things he's done (not many) and think he's personally rather likable but I doubt he sees eye to eye

That's fair. I suppose that is one of Bernie's own talking points.

Hmmm…you make it sound interesting. I watched five minutes of it but couldn't get past the dual pilloring of the god-awful laugh track and Ashton Kutcher's face. Maybe I shouldn't surrender to my prejudices so easily.

“Bernie, you look like a million bucks!” Obama told Sanders. “Or 37,000 donations of $27 each.”
- It's funny because the people that support weirdo Sanders don't have much money, while normal politicians like Obama just get their money from corporations! That Bernie, what a loser!

This is really great!

Probably right.
