Yes. But the problem is that once you are over 35 getting vaccinated doesn’t do anything. And TB tests have a wide margin of error.

Back when these came out I vowed to actually go buy a book by Jenny Trout to support her. And I don’t read romance novels. I think I’ll have to do that today. Maybe it will be a new thing for me.
With all due respect, you are wrong. The entire existence of 50 Shades is justified by one thing and one thing only: The brilliant Jenny Trout’s Chapter by Chapter decuntstruction* of the book.
In Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s defense, I don’t know if any two sentient people could have stared in this franchise and not instantly loathed each other with the passion of parents who waited 18 years to get divorced. But I honestly hope that they can reach an event horizon of loathing and then pass over it to…
You’ve done research on acid attacks but didn’t know that millions of people contract active TB every year? Where is your research based?
“It’s sadly common...” You are being patronizing and disrespectful right now. Alexis’s family did NOT “misgender” him. They were supportive of hist transitions, which were multiple, and his evolving pronoun preferences. Ironically, it is you who are erasing their support and love in order to make his narrative fit…
Now, kosher Chinese makes more sense than kosher Italian.
Depressingly, the best Italian food has shellfish. If there’s an Italian place in Hell it probably is kosher.
Many people who are just one or two generations “off the boat” feel that their parents or grandparents had the last REAL American immigrant story and that everyone who came after is vermin. I have Peruvian relatives in CA who barely speak English who are like this. They genuinely think that all of Trump’s supporters…
Couldn’t you argue that the stroller itself was a dangerous instrument? I mean, if you tip a stroller over on purpose you can kill a baby.
Why would they waste their time making their fake photo look real? The people that are going to respond to it positively are only going to see it for a second, and are never going to see a retraction. By the time someone points out that it’s a fake they can have a new image circulating faster than that information.
This is a great comment. The glamorization, and deglamorization of different kinds of work is really fascinating.
I know that people think this, but its not true. There are many things that you cannot contractually agree to. You can’t enter into a contract to be someone’s slave. You can’t enter into a contract to sell someone your kidney.
I found the trailer really off-putting for this reason. It doesn’t seem like this was a movie written by people who were interested in portraying the culture of programming and mechanical computation as it actually existed for these women. Which would have been a more revolutionary thing to portray.
I’m going to call bullshit on that divorce contract, at least the way its described by Radar. You can’t use a divorce contract as a DND like that. It would be unenforceable. Also, you can’t negotiate child support this way: “I’ll give you the child more support if the mother does this.” This is nonsense.
My major recommendation is Ivan Savov’s primers. He is constantly updating them and parsing things, which in the early versions, were condensed. Just google his name.
I don’t think the humanities are fuzzier. There’s just very little humanities instruction at the k-12 level in the US. What would you measure? The kid can distinguish the writing of a philosopher trained in the Anglo-American analytic tradition from that of one trained in the European tradition? Philosophy isn’t even…
This was my situation. I am now in math “recovery.” I discovered some resources online that really helped me. There are a lot of “secret” math primers that math enthusiasts have put together on line for people who, literally, never learned any math... for whatever reason.
I was picturing a way sketchier bus. I feel like this isn’t the world’s worst investment.
But he did open a summer camp in NY state last summer, and he hasn’t been back to check on the kids.
