Seems the GAO found that lack of transparency goes into why medical devices are so expensive.

Medical devices are priced properly for a capitalist market.  The problem lies in that they should not exist in a capitalist market, they should exist outside of it... but that’s socialism or communism, or something else that’s far worse than dying from a literal virus.

And this is what you get when your entire nation is ran by people who’ve never actually created a thing in their lives.  The act of producing something is beyond their understanding.

Either them or the folks at H.E.B. Somewhat paradoxical that some of these deep red state companies are doing/have done some of the best prep for the pandemic. Read the H.E.B. article. They’ve had full-time pandemic staff monitoring reports from China (and other places, like Missouri) for years.
