Designers need the 'raw material' of a person to then shape the image into what is requested. In no way has modeling ever been about 'realistic' or 'normal' people. It's about image manipulation.

So you're kind of a bitch? And a reactive person that refuses to acknowledge that participation is either a tacit or explicit approval of the value systems that holidays reinforce?

There are all kinds of men - and we hang together - that hate pro sports, despise the automotive culture, and spend a good deal of time exercising.

You need to hang out with different sorts of men. No one in my male cohort would watch crap like that.

Oh man, the men that still buy shit like this. When I see men with wristwatches, I just shake my head in confusion, and then I ask them what time it is. That's when they look at their phone.

I take umbrage at the assumptions you're making about why some people are opposed to bodily modification through facial make-up, push-up bras, wigs, heeled shoes, or whatever (for men or women). For many of us, the primary concern rests with the reasons why people hide or modify their faces and bodies - the

Bitchy face still bitchy.

Oh, the old 'I do it for me' line.

Both 'size issues' you alluded to work best when you're all alone...

I have a cousin that looks exactly like Prince.

Yeah, I kinda felt that the comic should've been called "Slowly not getting over yourself".

It's the same limited comprehension that bible readers often have. The bible is full of ambiguous one-liners that people decontextualize and misuse in ignorance.

The quote implies a sickening level of individualism that refuses to acknowledge that each and every one of our decisions affects the world around us. It's sociopathic and gross, and breeds the 'me first' bullshit that tears our society apart.

oh wow...

And you'd spend all your money on a time machine to make sure you never have to watch another movie that wasn't made in the 90s...

That's laughably offensive. But in the vein of being offensive: I'm sure you've noticed that the people with 3-4 kids tend to be ugly and poor, right?

I dunno. I choose not to have kids because there are 7 billion people on a planet with a carrying capacity of 3-4 billion - and we're basically destroying our only known habitat. I think that it's extremely messed up that we automatically assume that we just get to keep having billions of kids forever without

It's a bit disconcerting that we are seeing yet another tall, muscular conventionally attractive man with a full head of hair on a site that bombards its readers about the value of expanding our current beauty standards. I guess it's only the womynz that get to have a variety of types.

These supporting muscle groups, which I work on with a vengeance, do not result in 20-30lbs of bulk. And if you're worried about joints, it's the long-term effects of extra weight on the body that damage them most.

Any more weight just makes people look like a neanderthal. Slim and trim is the only way to be.
