Seriously. The new influx of FTP players is just clogging servers with terrible terrible players. I'm talking about rounds where I get 80 points and the next highest on any team is 14. Its nice to just destroy people and have living target practice, but it removes all challenge from the game.

You can't reason a person out of an opinion/mindset they didn't reason themselves in to.

.... Does it have to be non-alcoholic?

I would transfer all of your data to the extra hard drive and then use a gparted live disk to resize your root partition. Make sure to back everything up first, as messing with partitions always carries an element of risk. Perhaps hum the 007 theme song while you are doing it.

I've been doing a lot of pull ups as part of my workout routine recently. I've gotten to where I can do a good amount, but I seem to be developing some blisters and hard/dead skin. Any tips for making my hands look normal again? Do I just need to find another activity?

Wouldn't duct tape be an incredibly hot material for a hammock? I'm thinking you would sweat like crazy in that thing.

I'm planning on taking my first crack at brewing (which is just like cooking beer, right?). Any resources, tips, or gotchas I should be aware of?

Eye wood never dew such a thing.

For all intensive purposes, "irregardless" is a perfectly cromulent word!

I think you mean "irregardless" of context.

- People that turn on their turn signals... while turning.

I'll 2nd nano-byte on Source games (Portal, TF2, CS:S, Half Life 2, etc).

It really depends what matters to you. I have an older model with a big hard drive. When the disc spins, it is loud so I generally install the game to the HD to cut back on the noise (I play games on fairly low volume). The fans in general are somewhat loud anyway, but not unbearable.

For FPS games, keyboard and mouse is vastly superior. For platformers and RPG type games (think 3rd person perspectives), I like to use an Xbox controller.

AKA Virtualboy... the most terrible idea ever.

If you do Xbox, make sure to get one of the huge ones. Also, the NES Advantage. For Atari, make sure you get both the turney-wheel thing and the joystick.

I used the term "paddle" for a while. Perhaps he was just shortening that.

Finally a topic I know a few things about!

Definitely read the manual and play the first half hour of single player to get the basic controls and concepts. If you are playing with friends that play a lot, try to stay close to them.. there is safety in groups usually.

This is definitely something to be cautious about. The problem that most experienced runners encounter is that they think they can switch to barefoot shoes and continue to run as much as they normally do (and with the same form).
