I'll let you know if I ever decide I want to be an adult.

Start asking them lots of questions. What is their telemarketing company name, who are they calling for, where is it located, what is the caller's name, what is their supervisor's name, and so on. Try to get as much information as you can. If they are spammers, they will likely start getting nervous. From that point,

Haha true, I hadn't thought of that angle. I think we understand what they mean, but it is quite a misleading statement either way.

Their claim is *technically* correct, although misleading. Viruses aimed at PC's (which they are defining as Windows computers) could not possibly infect a Mac.

TF2 makes me sad. I used to love it, then I took a month or two off and valve went nuts with new items and hats and crazy community items. I just don't enjoy it anymore, especially with so many people clogging chat with trade requests.

There are vanilla servers, but they limit you to ONLY the original weapons (i.e. no Kritzkrieg, my favorite weapon).

An atheist yelling "God is bullshit" every time he kills a guy would be just slightly more ridiculous than a Christian that yells "God is awesome" every time he kills a guy. You probably have played as atheist characters and not even known it. Most atheists don't really mention God unless someone else brings it up

Thats how I played the original Super Mario Bros for years, usually jerking the controller up and/or jumping along with Mario.

That sounds magical and revolutionary.

Religious people stick with the religion their parents, or one remarkably similar. This is a true statement. Even if you find counter-examples, it is still a true statement.

Thanks! Luck is exactly what I'll need... luck and patience. I've used both Ubuntu and Debian, but never really ventured far from that safety zone.

They have actually made me want to take my first attempt at installing Arch.

For those of you Lifehackers that use Tasker, you can set this up fairly easily. Select a State of "Headset Plugged" and set the action to launch whichever program you prefer.

Chen is freakin killing me with the commentary! Hilarious!

I read your comment as "I bought an iPad 10, days ago." To which I thought, iPod 10 must be the first version to allow time travel, and this guy has come back just to mock us!

Perhaps I'm confused. Is there a reason that Offline Gmail through Google Gears isn't sufficient? If Gmail were to lose all of my past emails, would they disappear from my Offline backup as well?

The last Firefox version I used was (I think) 3.5. I had switched to Chrome quite a while ago. On a whim this weekend I downloaded this FF4 Beta 12 version and took it for a test drive. I like the UI update quite a bit. Performance was subjectively comparable to Chrome (I didn't notice any sluggishness). I didn't

@acidrain69 I like the idea. Please anyone that writes Gawker be respectful and specific. Tell them why you don't like the layout and what you would encourage them to do about it. Should they revert it to the old layout? Improve some areas? Scrap it and start over? If enough people give feedback, hopefully things will
