My wallet hates the Steam holiday sales...

@NorwoodIsMyHero: I'm going to assume you haven't actually done that, but it would be awesome to see the entire history of things you've commented on the internet. Some people would have genuinely interesting comments, some would have hateful diatribes, and some would be nothing but "first".

@wickedcupofjoe: I had good luck with Picasa, but my photos were already somewhat organized by date and general folders. I mostly used it for the face tagging, so I can now look at pictures by the specific people in them or the date.

@dragonskin: Congrats! It must feel great to have your back ... um... back!

@Melde: I love a good 'would you rather'! In this case I would pick A, but I would like it better if everyone always had to sing what they say. Also, does it matter what singing style is used? If I had to sing it like an opera singer it would be significantly more bothersome than if I could just put more melody in my

@jabber: He is probably up to snow good.

I'm trying to get going with video game emulators. Does anyone have recommendations for good emulators or guides on emulator/MAME setups?

@Shadow-Lurker: *starts humming* If I had a million dollars...

I'm not an email expert, but isn't replying to spam mail generally considered a bad idea? I was under the impression that all it really does is let the spammer know your email is active and monitored and that you are reading their spam. Somebody that knows please pipe up if I am mistaken.

@Curves: Why draw the line at nudity while we are at it? What is to stop a terrorist from hiding a bomb up his rectum, or in her vagina? Shouldn't we be searching these potentially hazardous cavities for each person that wants to ride on a plane?

@Curves: Why not have everybody walk through the airport naked then? Everybody will see thousands of penises and vaginas, so nobody will have more than a second of note.

@Zulmokhan: I would agree that it is not two-way control, but not for the same reasons. The mind and the body are one. The only distinction is made in the mind.

@JimJam707: I think you have it backwards. With a 0% chance of not dying (based on past observations of everything that has ever lived), this doesn't seem to do much good!

On a related note, supposedly smiling can make you feel better.

Reposting this from my comment on the Gizmodo post:

I feel this is a good time to remind people that using different passwords on sites doesn't have to be completely impossible to remember. Use a mnemonic device, such as writing a sentence and using the letters from it for a password base.

@FalconRagex: Some people are willing to pay $.99 for an hour or so worth of entertainment. Heck, people will pay $15 to see a 2 hour movie, some people evaluate game purchases in the same way.

@Whitson Gordon: I understand wanting to test things, I really do. I just don't believe that pirating apps (even with the possible intention of paying for them later) is ok. Obviously you are free to do whatever your conscience allows, but I feel like there are better alternatives.

@jonnythan: I hate to promote a comment about piracy, but what exactly do you think gives you the right to take the work of developers for free? If you are uneasy about a purchase, why wouldn't you just *not* purchase the app?
