@Vensaina: Thanks for the suggestion, that looks excellent!

@geiko: I have the Logitech G5, and I absolutely love it. It cost a bit more than I had previously ever spent on a mouse, and I consider it worth every penny. I'm even considering getting a second one for work...
@MagicMT: In the spirit of the crazy DIY stuff that has been on LH all week, I suggest you build a twitter-connected robot to push the power button on your computer when you send it a twitter message. This likely completely nullifies any reason you had for keeping your computer off, but the awesomeness factor could…
@Phoshi: I am a former Catholic, but I still have a huge craving for fish during Lent! I hadn't had fish forever, and hearing about Lent brought back memories of fish every Friday.
@njdevil: I use it as well, but I don't know how to batch download. I would be very interested to find out if someone has a way.
@OCEntertainment: You just had to mention Aquabats, didn't you?! Now I'll be listening to them all afternoon..
I recently purchased a Droid (love it!), and I'm wanting to use it as my primary portable media player. I'm having a bit of trouble with the Motorola Media Sync software... does anyone have a good alternative that will allow me to sync music and podcasts from my computer?
@magnus84: My friend, it sounds like you need Synergy! And not just in the corporate buzz-word sense...
@TehBeardMan: I love that one... it is far too true!
@NorwoodIsMyHero: At my workplace, we use a similar system of anonymous feedback from peers at review time. It seems to be a great vehicle for constructive criticisms and way-to-gos, especially for the people that would generally keep those things to themselves. As long as it remains a positive working environment and…
@infmom: The sensor is about $20 in most places, and for me completely worth the dinero.
@infmom: I highly recommend the nike+ app if you enjoy running (or walking for exercise). You'll need to get a nike+ sensor and possibly an armband for the ipod, but it is easily one of my favorite investments I've made into my health.
@whiteflea: Wow... if I could game while on a treadmill I would weigh about 100 pounds and look like a paper-white version of Ghandi at the end of a hunger strike... I'm still waiting for game companies to start making "bench press hero" or something like that... maybe I would finally be motivated to go more regularly…
@jetRink: I'm a big fan of science fiction, so for a short read I would recommend Ender's Game (definitely my favorite). For a longer read, check out the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons.
@Chispea: This might be my favorite question of the open thread so far :). I don't know why, but I named my iPod nano "Herman", and my wifi network is named "Legion of Doom".
I agree with the sentiment that they should be cheaper than the physical copy of the book, due to no printing/material/transportation costs.
I like this idea, but I'm always looking for a way to automate.. Does anyone know of a way to have iTunes play a certain list for 30 minutes, or auto-generate certain length playlists?
@Phoshi: iPwned.
@Nick_S: I love my iPod Touch, but I am completely underwhelmed by the iPad announcement. It is a large iPod touch. It sounds like it has all of the same limitations of the Touch, with a bigger screen and bigger price tag.
Steam has Psychonauts on sale for $2.00 today as well.... Its a bit dated, but still a solid game, especially for the price. [store.steampowered.com]
