Ever since logging in hundreds of hours to Morrowind I've wanted this. I would have hourlong conversations with friends on Skype while we'd play it and tell each other the cool / funny things we were doing. All the while I was wishing "why can't we play together?" With SC 2, there's an option to "Authenticate" to play offline. With D 3, that may not be an option due to them having an auction house involving real USD. Anything involving real USD kinda needs to be locked down hard, and I honestly don't blame them.
