[Does double take] DC and L.A. make the list but London does not. I disagree, but I will read on. As for my New York not making the list, I say bravo. It doesn’t deserve it. It’s falling apart. For the record, I have used the Prague and Paris systems. I love both.

in the US, this dude would never see a bill again in his life.

I’ve finally started seeing a few Wagoneers on the road. They’re still not great, but I don’t think they’re as bad in person, though the rear is still a crime.

Maybe, but I haven’t driven those so they may *not* exist.

This is a great write up, Andy. I sincerely appreciate how you acknowledged it’s faults and how frankly pointless a vehicle this big is in a way that isn’t trying to shame someone for enjoying it. I personally have no drive to own one of these, but I totally get the appeal.

The GC L is American luxury done right, and is honestly the closest thing we have to a Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham that we have on sale today – and I mean that in a very good way.”

The new entry-level vehicle will be a used vehicle, more so than in the past, anyway.

all signs pointing to this being a great car. hopefully they make enough of them. 3cylinder turbo thats quite tunable, manual, AWD, boxflare fenders. it has my interest. will also likely look like this

What?

I’ve always wanted a GT-Four Celica, but the likelyhood that I’ll ever own one is low.  The GR-Four Corolla seems like a very reasonable compromise.

They do exist!

Tom writes articles like someone that makes sense of nuanced numbers all day, and I’m here for it.

I was gonna ask...why Indianapolis?

It’s rather easy to laugh a little at all of this in retrospect - but seriously, don’t you WANT the government to have a plan for every possible situation?

Car salespeople engage in more car-buying transactions per day than most people will in their entire lives. No matter where you go, the balance of experience and knowledge is not on your side as a car buyer. CarMax is, to some extent, taking advantage of this fact like every other car dealer, but for most people,
