Its BMW, they are just going to keep the i8 but call it the iS6 so they can make room for the all new iS8 which will be a three row, race car for the road, with a towing capacity of 8000lbs, and joystick controls.
After I get sick of fixing my BMW 850 I am thinking of getting a current generation i8. Depreciation is brutal with multiple low mileage examples available, performance is “Good Enough” design is polarizing and they are relatively rare.
You might not want a Rogue - I don’t either - but it is a high volume model in an in-demand segment. If Nissan can’t do that well they just have to close the doors, because they’re done.

Got to agree.
My example above was that standing next to one to promote his new movie was as egregious as asking him to wear a Cheeto’s shirt down the red carpet. I am half-certain that the author wrote this just to drive clicks to the story, because it’s controversial.
Frustration, stress, and cabin fever; I’m still doing my 65-mile each-way daily commute (for 20 years!) and the increased aggression of the drivers is obvious in the past two months.
I have a little bit of experience with this stuff as an IP lawyer who lived and worked in West LA at the time. If anyone thinks this story makes Brosnan look bad, that’s likely the result of not understanding how this stuff works.
Not cool to insult someone who shares valuable advice on here weekly.
I hope your post is snark or something. Otherwise, you just eagerly shared that you carried over negative equity, for no reason, on a not so great deal, at the top of a recession that is likely to end up with much better deals later on.
What is with the aggressively angry comments on jalopnik lately? The comments were always my favorite part of this site, but lately it’s been inundated with a bunch of pissy people just looking for a fight with the authors. If you’re so upset with everything jalopnik publishes, then go somewhere else. It’s free…
Looks like a very nice car and glad you are happy with the deal, but why fuck Tom?
Am I the only one who never cared for A) The original Aston Martin Vanquish, and B) Brosnan as Bond?
And you would pay for each of those excess miles/days.
“I am trying to return my lease and the dealer won’t take it back”
Your lease isn’t with the dealership. It’s with the leasing company which is usually the financial arm of whatever brand you are leasing. We are turning in my wife’s (terrible) Nissan Murano in next month. If the dealership doesn’t take it, I’ll be parking the car in the dealer’s lot, putting the keys on the manager’s…
