Stay tuned...

Is it wrong that I want a “worst of 2018” list a bit more than “best of 2018”?

this is the PD’s try at avoiding admitting fault for the eventual civil action that will come from this accident.

There's a big difference between clamshell and suicide in that the former requires the front doors to be open and the latter can open the rear doors independent of the front. It's really not the same thing at all

you mean kinda like how the phantom has a massive B pillar too?

Anyone else have issues with their statements?

Seriously. And how does anyone think deploying spike strips on a road that has a corridor of stopped cars filled with people is a good idea?

Agreed.. a lot of opportunity lost on that pillar. even a simple brushed stainless cover piece (could even say CONTINENTAL vertically) would have worked wonders for the presentation.

Sure, the new B-pillar is larger, but it ain’t much worse (ingress/egress wise) than it was back in ‘61.

They farmed out production to a custom coachbuilder, so it didn’t cost them anything.

It’s not based on the Fusion.

You seem to forget how the B-pillar looked in Continentals of yore.

I love Kim’s Convenience

Bradley,

Man, we literally cannot keep Navigators or Nautili where I work. The cars don’t sell very well, but the new Continental has always been a halo car for Lincoln.

150k for a Lincoln. Sedan. In 2018. Wow. Best of luck with that guys.

Having recently had suicide doors on my daily driver, they are absolutely terrible in the real world.

You don’t want to be t boned in any car from that era, period.

This is fantastic news! I can’t wait to buy a ‘coach door’ Continental for $3000 in ten years

Suicide doors.
