Pretty much any truck or SUV up until the 94 Ram. Then it all went down hill.

Any Jeep Cj/wrangler especially the 60's-70's CJ's. They were built with rugged simplicity to do one thing, take you places most other vehicles couldn't. They didn't care that they handled awful, or got shitty gas mileage. They just did their job and did it well.

Easy.. This looks like it should, drives like it should, is as floaty as it looks and as comfortable as it seems. Uses as much gas as you'd expect to boot. Pretty much every assumption made about these things is correct. So I bought another..

The Wrangler up through the TJ generation. Simple off-road machines that didn't even have the option of power windows or locks or mirrors or traction control through 2006! It can even be hard to find one with ABS. The ride is very very bumpy and you can take the doors off. The motor gets terrible mileage, but has

The Eight Generation Chevy Suburban. Actually the 9th and 10th Generations work well here too.

1995 F-150 Pick Up.

"Yeah, so after a $300 tow, can you tell me what's wrong with it? Left me sitting high and dry at a rest stop." "Oh here's your problem, seatbelt sensor went out. Those things get a lot of wear and tear. Not covered by warranty, going to be $500."

Do this w/ the new mustang.

I've thought about attending, but instead, I think I'll just go overlanding. In fact, I'll be unable to attend since I will be on a 3 day 4 night bike/drive trip on the white rim during that time. Oh well.

Just Beat It

*But not really, because it's still an aftermarket conversion

Very much so. It would be a completely different kettle of fish if a commuter vehicle only cost a couple of thousand dollars new, though.

There's no discussion of that because it's not true.

i um...I got nothing. Just beat it up off road for me, k?
