You do realize that semis are generally rear wheel drive and have a i-beam solid front axle. The 2wd ford and dodge trucks are NOT i-beam front axles, they're IFS.

I have always had a problem with foreign trucks. Call me truck prejudice but if America excels at one thing in the Auto industry it is building trucks. So why do people buy trucks from non-American manufactures?

Thanks for the links! I presume a sufficiently sized tow ball would work, but since they're in single shear instead of double shear like a shackle, it would need to be quite a bit larger. With people's propensity to not check ratings on anything, it's best to just say never use a tow ball.
