I went in early September and there was hardly anyone there. Guess I got lucky? I don't at all doubt that it gets crazy busy.

Made me think of this picture -

He should absolutely franchise. This is a pointless battle that is diverting valuable resources from product development. Tesla's argument that dealers can't sell alternative fuel vehicles is malarkey. This argument goes that dealers prefer to sell gasoline vehicles because they are easier to sell and they get more

What's this little deal do?

Couldn't agree more with MtrRider. Lots of people use their trucks to do truck things like go offroad.

They use to do this stuff to SUVs such as the bronco and blazer. Unfortunately, due to primarily to government fuel economy regulations, these vehicles don't exist anymore and pickup trucks make up the vast majority of body on frame 4x4 vehicles. That is why these mods are being done to pickups.

I want to echo hammerhead - get that book he suggested. First thing I did the first time I went to moab. Made things a lot easier. As for the testing... Try not to get any body damage and have a blast!

I thought about getting a new regular cab pickup recently, and then realized how cheap deuce and a halfs are and quickly changed my mind.

*testament to the viscosity of the muck you were stuck in. - I am impressed that you didn't get any inside.

looks like fun.

I too have been stuck in the pine barrens. Didn't sustain any body damage though. Just got the carpets a little wet.

This is why I watch NASCAR. It's the hockey of auto racing and I love it for that.

Here's a fun fact: Argentina lost the war.

Yes

Even with the diagram above I can't figure it out. But I didn't really know the naming scheme before either, so I suppose there's no damage done.

Now playing

We use to do this with my land cruiser in the corn fields around campus. Was a total blast after 6+ inches of powder.

You learn something every day. Very good point about the poaching larger truck sales.

Guessing you don't live in the states if you get a CR-V diesel. I'd say a base fleet model oriented model is possible for $25,000. To make it palatable to most consumers wussy consumers who need blue tooth and carpet add 2000. I'd say $26-27,000 is a more reasonable price point. I wish diesel were cheaper, I

You're dreaming if you think you can get a modern diesel truck for that price point in the US. Emission systems are far too expensive.
