Ha ha I grew up in the burbs of the burbs of Detroit. I lived overseas for a year and the easiest way to say where I was from was from Detroit and I loved how peoples eyes would widen and they would just take a step back as if I was going to mug them right there just from being from Detroit.

I take a train most days and then hop to a bus here in chicago and honestly. It is better than driving and I am more relaxed at the end of the day but the disjointed connections between the CTA Subway and the Metra or Suburan Train makes it an effort. Even more so as a non-native to Chicago following the bus routes…
