I think you are referring to Model Team. One of the first ones I remember was a huge white semi truck. I agree, you don't see any of the big castles or boats that really float, or sets with a large base plate.

Yeah, I have been forced to use a Google search with "site:lifehacker"

Gross and facinating at the same time. Thank you Mr. Diaz

Well, getting a new van from a dealer will cost you an arm and a leg! /rimshot... Thank you, thank you, I will be here all weekend.

I agree about the reef knot, I use it when I run, and now I never have an issue with the laces coming untied.

Might I suggest searching Youtube for Telemarketer Pranks to get some ideas, and have a little fun with the telemarketers. Then your wasted time doesn't feel so wasted.

It looks like they pulled him out, and started beating him, but the camera pans to the car instead.

Put something interesting on the wall then do this trick, now you are not obscuring the interesting object, and you wouldn't have the perspective issues the person in the article would obviously have.

@fuzzlemail: I believe you, because digital photographs do not lie!

@CrymeLord: HA HA Futurama was my primary inspiration, but I know a few people who say axe instead of ask.

@Scott: Ever since they closed GeoCities, GIF useage on the internet has dropped by 90%.

@CrymeLord: I want to axe you a question.

@I, Opener: Whoops my bad, I assumed you were forgetting about the round trip, and I asumed I knew how to add.

@I, Opener: Really, because the light would take 280 million years to get to the mirror, then 280 million years to get back to your eye. Thanks for playing though.

@blueeddie: Hypothetically, if there were a mirror at 280 million light years away pointing at us, when we looked at it, it would show us what earth looked like 480 million years ago. Your mind = Blown...You are welcome.

Did no one else see Haystack Rock, and think "One eyed Willie's treasure is THAT way!"
