@GranMastaB614: I would say worst idea is a little harsh, but I would also say this hasn't been thought out from an enginering standpoint either. That ladder system is going to add a lot of mass to the structure, and the inventer is on crack if he thinks this system could be retro-fitted to existing trucks.
